I also emphasize a healthy technical foundation by incorporating principles from the Taubman Approach and the Alexander Technique. I focus on natural, efficient movement at the piano which allows for freedom, ease, and expression while reducing unnecessary tension and the risk of injury.

For students interested in formal recognition, I offer preparation for competitions, exams, and auditions, including the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), the Royal Conservatory of Music, NYSSMA, and MTNA. My students receive comprehensive guidance to meet and exceed the standards of these prestigious programs.

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Lynn University and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My teaching experience includes positions with the Aspen Music Festival PALS Program, Lynn University Conservatory, Eastside Music School in Austin, and the University of Texas at Austin. I currently teach, serve as a music director and pianist at The Waterfront Montessori and Léman Manhattan Preparatory School.

Every student’s musical journey begins with curiosity and passion. My goal is to nurture that spark into a lifelong love of music, creative confidence, and a meaningful form of self-expression..

Based in Harborside, Jersey City, I currently offer private piano lessons and opera/vocal coachings in Jersey City, Manhattan and Online. With over a decade of teaching experience, I create personalized lessons that reflect each student’s interests, learning style, and goals.

My teaching is rooted in Music Learning Theory with Music Moves for Piano, a research based approach that develops audiation: the ability to hear and understand music internally. Through listening, singing, movement, improvisation, playing by ear, and rote learning, students develop a strong sense of rhythm, harmony, phrasing, and musical structure before connecting these skills to notation. This helps them become independent, expressive, and creative musicians rather than simply reproducing notes from the page.
